Has anyone else got the planner blahs since the pandemic?  I am working from home everyday and all my activities are virtual.   I just don't have that same zeal for planning like I used to.  So...Since we have all been at home, I have changed it up a bit and moved into a cute new B6 planner.  I still don't decorate it as much, but when I do, I really like the way regular sticker kits fit into it without alteration.  

This week the challenge at Use Your Stuff challenge blog is to use patterns.  I used a sticker kit that was all patterned sticker paper.  And I really liked it even though I haven't used patterned paper in ages.

The planner kit is from a shop on Etsy and the doll is from Capitol Chic designs.  I really love how this turned out.

This corona virus has me feeling some kinda way.  My mojo was already on hiatus, but the whole virus thing had just wiped out what little mojo I had.  So when the Use your Scraps blog team got a challenge to use a mood board to create a challenge, I took the new digital stamp set Hello from Home that I purchased from The Greeting Farm and printed it out.  I pulled colors that were close to those in the mood board, and that spoke spring to me (since the board spoke spring to me) and colored away.  Frankly, I am quite pleased.  I LOVE the way her hair came out, and the whole card has a really cohesive feel because I took my colors from the mood board.  And I even used some years old dots that I had in my stash to tie the colors together.

So, I did a thing today.  I made a card.  And there is no coloring.  And it was really fun!  Kinda felt like I was cheating on my Copics.  But I did go back to my first love and use my silhouette so it is not quite as bad as it seems.  Hope you like the card.

I am hosting the new challenge at Use Your Stuff blog.  The challenge is masculine.  For the challenge, I created a masculine card, altering the hair to look like my son.   I also broke out my ink blending make up brushes.  I found these on amazon in the beauty area and find that they are identical to the much more expensive ones sold by the scrappy companies.  I believe my set of 10 brushes was about $15.  And they do an AWESOME ink blended background.  I used Bristol smooth card stock, and Distress oxide ink for my blend and it is soooo smooth.

This is my first time trying a box card.  It was a little tedious, but I like it.

The new challenge at Use Your Stuff is washiest.  Just happened that I JUST got my new stamp set from Gina K designs featuring all of the crafty things, including washi strips!  I also ordered this cute little girl coloring with her copic marker from Stamp Anniething.  The two together made for a really cute crafty card.
